Biography

Tommy was educated at Wake Forest University where he earned his B.A. degree in 1958, and after two years of service in the United States Navy earned his J.D. degree in 1963. While at Wake Forest he was inducted into Phi Delta Phi. He has been licensed to practice law in all North Carolina Courts since 1963, and has since been admitted to practice law in the United States District Court for the Eastern District of North Carolina, the United States Fourth Circuit Court of Appeals, and the United States Supreme Court.

Tommy is an experienced civil litigator, having primarily represented insurance companies throughout eastern North Carolina. Tommy is also an arbitrator in alternative dispute resolution (ADR) and a Certified Superior Court Mediator by the North Carolina Dispute Resolution Commission. In 2013, Tommy was inducted into the North Carolina Bar Association’s General Practice Hall of Fame.

A civic leader, Tommy has served as president of the Lenoir County Chamber of Commerce, Lenoir County Economic Development Commission, Lenoir County Committee of 100, United Way, and Kinston Country Club, Inc. He has also served as chairman of the Lenoir County Board of Elections, Lenoir County Democratic Party, the Board of Deacons of First Baptist Church of Kinston, and as a member of the East Carolina Council, Boy Scouts of America.

Tommy is married with two children and two grandchildren.

Biography

P.C. received his B.A. and J.D. degrees from Wake Forest University where he was a member of the Honor Council and Sigma Phi Epislon fraternity. While in law school, P.C. was a member of Phi Delta Phi fraternity.

P.C. served in the United States Army and the North Carolina Army National Guard and was discharged as a captain in the United States Army Reserves.

He is a Certified Superior Court Mediator by the North Carolina Dispute Resolution Commission and is admitted to practice before all North Carolina Courts, the United States District Courts for the Eastern, Middle, and Western Districts of North Carolina, the United States Fourth Circuit Court of Appeals, and the United States Supreme Court.

P.C. is also a two-time recipient of the Distinguished Service Award of Kinston and Lenoir County and was named Lenoir County Chamber of Commerce Citizen of the Year in 1985. In 2010, P.C. was inducted into the North Carolina Bar Association’s General Practice Hall of Fame. He has also been selected for the Best Lawyers in America in the areas of commercial litigation and construction law.

P.C. is married and has two sons and three grandsons. P.C. is also active in the Boy Scouts of America and is an Eagle Scout.

Rick has assisted local banks and financial planners in handling their customers’ and clients’ estate planning needs and is an approved attorney for most local realtors and banks and most title insurance companies doing business in North Carolina. Biography

Stuart received his B.A. in Education from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and his J.D. from Campbell University School of Law.
